5. "Static pages"
"Static pages" are plain web pages that the website owner can add to a FladsClassifieds website. You can use "Static pages" to build, for example, an "About us" page or a "Terms and Conditions" page that are entirely integrated in your classifieds website.
The system is designed to add only a small number of "static pages"; it is not to be used as a CMS.
To configure the "static pages", you have to log in with privilege level "Super Administrator". When logged in, access the Administer static pages section of the Admin menu.
The distribution includes a contact "static page" that cannot be delete but can be hidden.
To add a static page, you have to (see Figure below):
- add an entry in the Static page configuration page,
- configure a "View" file,
- add an entry in every language file
(
system/application/language/LLLL/Fl_my_lang.php).
